THE ART OF GEORG SCHAFFRIN

Georg Schaffrin, father of the "Figure Goblin" Roland Schaffrin, was an artist that worked in many mediums.
As you can see from the pictures below that he was talented in woodcarving, painting, sculpting and diorama making. It is my pleasure to share these pictures with all those that would visit this site.

This oilpainting, by Georg, was patterned after Rembrandt's picture of the man with the golden helmet. He painted it in gthe early 1950's.

The Figure Goblin uses it as a background for his landsknetfigures.
